VISION
The Youth Ministry in Communion (YMIC) Southwark network was founded in 2024 at St Mary's Putney, building on the success of the London YMIC project at St Andrew's Fulham Fields. Several neighbouring parishes near St Mary's, all with a passion for supporting young people, expressed interest and became partners in the initiative. Before expanding into Southwark, YMIC established a clear vision that remains unchanged: to revitalise youth ministry in the sacramental tradition, helping young people encounter God's love and experience transformation through this.
MISSION
We are pioneering ways for Church of England parishes of the catholic and liturgical spectrum of traditions to do youth ministry. As a network of London based parishes, our priority is intentionally localised, but we are currently exploring ways to reach and support parishes across the country.
